Our History

Thomas Landscape and Design Inc. has been offering creative and innovative landscaping and design for over 45 years.  Family owned and operated, we are Monroe County’s leading full service landscape, lawn, tree and shrub maintenance company. We also have our Garden Center which offers a variety of products to improve your lawn, garden, trees and many garden accents to add to your home décor.

In addition to the Garden Center, we have our Nursery and green houses. Fully stocked in the spring through fall to offer our customers many varietals of trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals to keep your outdoor space looking its best!

Thomas Landscape is fully insured and ready to serve you and all your landscape needs.  Your project starts with a visit from one of Thomas Landscape and Designs highly specialized representatives to evaluate your landscape design, maintenance request, pest or disease issue.  After  discussing the request with the customer a contract is generated and sent for review. A second appointment may be required for walls, walkways, patios, outdoor kitchens and some landscape plantings.  In the case of walls, walkways, patios and kitchens we review colors, shapes and styling for each project before installation.  Landscape installations may take one day to a few weeks depending on the extent of the job.  With numerous trucks and crews (each with a foreman) to serve you we work as quickly and efficiently as possible to complete the job in a timely manner.   All landscaping projects are reviewed and supervised by the owner Richard Thomas and our general manager Tony Zucco.
